The need for better training

Designing experiments to ensure maximum information from minimum animal use needs particular skills. FRAME organises training courses that teach those skills.

When scientists carry out experiments it is vitally important they are well designed, otherwise they may waste resources or give the wrong answers. This is especially serious if animals are used.

FRAME promotes the importance of reduction to researchers worldwide and, in particular, new, young scientists. It arranges training schools in Experimental Design and Statistical Analysis of Biomedical Experiments.
