Reduction Steering Committee
The FRAME Reduction Committee was established in 1998 and has now developed into the FRAME Reduction Steering Committee (FRSC) overseeing a number of working parties.
Members of the committee are representatives from industry, the Home Office, and academia, with expertise in statistics, experimental design, animal welfare and alternatives research.
The Committee’s main aim is:
‘To reduce the number of animals used in research, education and testing without compromising the quality of research or hindering scientific progress’
