ATLA to publish Indian symposium abstracts

The International Symposium on Alternate Models in Biological Research: Present and Future Perspectives, recently took place at the Indian Institute of Toxicology in Lucknow.

The symposium was attended by more than 250 people and included speakers from several different continents, from both industry and academia.

A report of the proceedings and abstracts from the speakers’ presentations will be published this year in ATLA, FRAME’s scientific journal.

Chairman of the FRAME Trustees Prof Michael Balls said: “I regret that I could not accept the invitation to be at the Lucknow symposium. As Editor of ATLA (Alternatives to Laboratory Animals), I am looking forward to having a report on the symposium, together with abstracts of some of the presentations, published in an early 2011 issue of the journal.”
