Animals in Science Committee recruitment
The Animals in Science Committee (ASC) is a public body sponsored by the Home Office to provide independent advice to the Government on the use of animals in scientific procedures, advise the Animal Welfare Ethical Review Bodies on good practice and exchange information with other national bodies within the European Union.
The Home Office is seeking members with expertise in the following areas:
- an individual with current or recent senior leadership
- experience in commercial/industrial biotechnology
The time commitment may be up to 15 days per year. Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 1 November 2013
