Recognition for FRAME training schools
FRAME's training schools in experimental design now qualify for three days' worth of continuing professional development points from the Association Suisse des Vétérinaires Cantonaux (Association of Swiss District Veterinarians).
The group has looked at the topics covered during the schools and agreed that they should be recognised as special education and training for personnel involved in animal experiments.
The schools aim to show researchers how to design experiments so that they need fewer animals, as well as extracting higher quality information from the data.
The latest school will be held in the Netherlands on July 11 - 13. A few places are still available. See here for details.
