Conference: Laboratory animal use and the new EU Directive
The conference, called Animal Use in Research and the New EU Directive will be held at Northumbria University, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne on June 14-15.
It will address ethical, legal and scientific questions raised by Directive (2010/63/EU), which is due to be implemented in the UK next year.
Ethicists, biomedical scientists, social scientists, veterinarians and lawyers will gather to discuss the implications for animal welfare and ethics that are raised by the new regulations.
