Lhasa Limited, a charitable organisation that is best known for developing Derek for Windows/Derek Nexus and several other globally-used expert systems, successfully hosted its second international symposium on 15–16 September 2010, at the Royal Armouries Museum, Leeds, UK. An international panel of speakers with expertise in several key areas of toxicity testing, regulatory affairs and method development, highlighted the current issues, initiatives, new directions and challenges for toxicity prediction. The meeting was presided over by David Watson, CEO of Lhasa Limited.
