Conference Report: The Laboratory Animal Science Association (LASA) Winter Meeting 2007

The 2007 LASA Winter Meeting was held from 21–23 November in Brighton, UK. The meeting was the largest yet, with over 300 delegates and trade exhibitors. There were six symposia, which covered a range of laboratory animal science issues. These were supplemented by a poster session, an Ask the Home Office Inspector slot, and a keynote speech by Professor Tipu Aziz. In addition, there was a large trade exhibition. The symposia and additional sessions, briefly described below, provided an excellent opportunity to disseminate new research, to provide information on improved methods, and to discuss the Three Rs.
